Rabbi Shlomo Buxbaum is a passionate Jewish educator, author,  motivational speaker, life-coach, and musician committed to helping people of all walks of life discover meaning, direction, inspiration and joy in their life.  


He lectures on a wide range of topics including daily spirituality, love and relationships, law and ethics, Kabbalah/mysticism, Jewish mindfulness and more, encouraging each and every individual to discover their unique potential and to always find the joy in their Judaism. 

He is the co-founder and director of The LEV Experience, a Jewish non-profit in the Greater Washington DC area that empowers individuals to find greater meaning, purpose, and possibilities in life by deepening their connection to Jewish wisdom and values. His students and clients include adults, young adults and families from all different Jewish backgrounds.  He is also on the Rabbinic staff of Mesorah DC for young professionals and Shoresh summer program, and is a frequent lecturer for organizations and Synagogues throughout the U.S.

In 2021, Rabbi Shlomo released his book "The Four Elements of an Empowered Life: A Guidebook to Discovering Your Inner World and Unique Purpose" published by Mosaica Press. He is also the host of the "Empowered Jewish Living Podcast".

Rabbi Buxbaum received Rabbinic Ordination from Aish Hatorah Jerusalem and Rabbi Zalman Nechemiah Goldberg, Chief Justice of the Rabbinical High Court in Jerusalem. Rabbi Buxbaum was the Rabbi of Aish HaTorah of Greater Washington for 8 years before launching The Lev Experience together with his wife, Devorah, in 2018. Rabbi Buxbaum also lectures for various other educational institutions in Maryland and is a frequent scholar-in-residence throughout America. Rabbi Buxbaum, his wife, and six children live in Silver Spring, Maryland.
